POSTER SUBMISSIONS


The Scientific Program Committee is calling for abstracts from those wishing to present posters at the 30th ASO Congress. Poster presentations aim to provide succinct and clear information regarding a clinical or research topic. Space will be limited and will therefore impact on the content of the poster. 

‘Scientific posters’ include basic or clinical research, reviews and meta-analyses.

‘Clinical posters’ include clinical case reports, case series, presentation of new appliances and clinical techniques.

The poster size is limited to AO portrait style - 841mm x 1189 mm.

Please upload your abstract by 15th March 2026.

The following format is recommended to be included in your poster presentation: 

  • Title, informing of the nature of the work, the people involved and their affiliation. 

  • an Introduction which should include background and clear statements about the issue, the characteristics of discovery or the evidence attempting to be established. 

  • Aims which should emanate from the introduction and to explore the unknown. 

  • Materials and/or Methodology section which describes and explains the basis of the technique used or the procedure adopted. Statements and justification of any assumptions should be made, so that results may be viewed in the proper context. 

  • Results section which illustrates the main findings and outcomes of the work. 

  • Discussion section, which amplifies and compares the findings.

  • Conclusion which focuses on the findings, the impact of the work and makes recommendations. 

  • The abstract should not contain reference, figures, tables or illustrations.

All submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee prior to deciding whether they can be accepted for the Congress. The decision of the Scientific Committee regarding the acceptance of abstracts is final.

Poster Presenters will be required to register to attend the 30th ASO Congress.
