Welcome

Registration is now open for ASO 2026!

On behalf of the Organising Committee, I am pleased to invite you to register to attend the 30th Australian Orthodontic Congress, taking place in the vibrant city of Melbourne, Victoria, from 20-23 May 2026—slightly later than usual in the calendar year.

We’re so excited to invite you to join us in Melbourne next May for the Australian Society of Orthodontists Congress which promises to be a celebration of connection, learning, and inspiration.

We’re proud to partner with a vibrant community of sponsors and exhibitors whose ongoing support helps bring the ASO 2026 Congress to life. Throughout the meeting, delegates will have the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore the latest products, and discover innovations that continue to shape modern orthodontic practice. These partnerships go beyond the exhibition floor as they represent enduring relationships built on shared goals, collaboration, and a commitment to advancing excellence in orthodontics. We sincerely thank our sponsors and exhibitors for their contribution and look forward to showcasing their products and services to our delegates in Melbourne.

Set in the heart of one of Australia’s most vibrant cities, the 2026 Congress will bring together colleagues, friends, and leaders from across the profession for an engaging scientific program “Focusing on Fundamentals” and a memorable social experience.  We’ve assembled an incredible lineup of speakers who will inform, challenge, and inspire. The full program is coming very soon, but in the meantime please meet our speakers here.

The Congress will feature an outstanding lineup of international and Australian speakers, including:

  • Prof Lucia Cevidanes (USA)

  • Dr Renato Cocconi (Italy)

  • Prof Ama Johal (UK)

  • Prof Bernd Lapatki (Germany)

  • Prof Ambra Michelotti (Italy)

  • Prof Sabine Ruf (Germany)

  • Plus many more!

Experience the creative pulse of Melbourne at our upcoming Congress! Set in Australia’s cultural capital, this event celebrates the city’s dynamic fusion of art, innovation, and industry. From its world-class street art and cutting-edge design to its thriving live music and culinary scenes, Melbourne is a playground for creativity. Engage with thought leaders, explore groundbreaking ideas, and immerse yourself in a city where inspiration is around every corner. All of these qualities will be evident in the exciting array of social functions which will accompany the academic programme, making it an event not to be missed.

We look forward to welcoming ASO members, colleagues, and orthodontists worldwide to this invaluable event.
